Our eco-adventure includes discovering the spectacular beauty, wildlife and crystal clear waters of Moreton Island. Moreton Bay Marine Park is home to many marine animals - Bottlenose and Indo Pacific humpback dolphins are in abundance, the rare and shy dugong enjoys grazing on Moreton Bay sea grass meadows, and the Humpback Whales even travel on their annual migration through the marine park. Marine turtles (Logerhead & Green) love these spectacular waters, and other marine life such as rays, sub-tropical fish and marine invertebrates are all home in Moreton Bays Marine Park also - if you do the guided snorkelling tour you may even meet the resident wobbegong.

The cruise embarks on a beautiful scenic Island cruise on board the 42 foot power catamaran"Mahi Mahi", which boards from Redcliffe Jetty. The cruise commences with a short safety induction then shortly after departs for the crystal waters of Moreton Island. Travelling from Northern Moreton to the Tangalooma Wrecks, a detailed on board commentary by a knowledgeable crew member will take place.

During the cruise the passengers delight in the breathtaking unspoiled scenery that Moreton Bay Marine Park and Moreton Island has to offer. Morning tea is served, and a very informative commentary is delivered. Marine animals such as dolphins, dugongs and turtles have all made their home in this beautiful environment.

On the hot days those wanting to try their hand in boom-netting, can get involved in this fun and exciting activity - its sure to refresh!. At the arrival of Tangalooma Wrecks, you can have a good look at the wrecks and its inhabitants. A myriad of fish have made the wrecks their home and surround the boat on arrival. Whilst lunch is served you can view the fish and coral or even try you hand at fishing. Lunch consists of a tropical buffet with seafood - PRAWNS, CRABS, all included - and its all fresh and locally supplied. There is also fresh chicken, salads, bread and fruit - certainly a lunch to remember!. After lunch enjoy those white sandy beaches and dunes of the island, take a dip in the crystal blue waters, take the optional snorkeling tour or just relax!.
