Spirit of Gold Coast - For the journey of a lifetime!
Gold Coast Whale Watching

There back! It is time to experience the majesty and grace of one of the world’s largest sea-based mammals, the Humpback Whale on Spirit of Gold Coast. With only minutes from your doorstep Spirit will have you up close and personal with these majestic mammals as they perform some of the most amazing acrobatic displays that only Mother Nature can choreograph.

Spirit of Gold Coast is a stable 24-metre catamaran, the safest and most comfortable way to experience these awe-inspiring creatures in their natural playground. Spirit features excellent 360 degrees viewing from upper and lower decks, fully licensed bar and souvenir shop.

Our friendly professional crew will be there to share this eye-opening and wonderful experience. A full commentary by a Marine Biologist, who will be happy to enlighten you on any queries about these magnificent mammals, and the environment they call home.

Comments from our 2005 “Guest Book” include:

“Beautiful creatures, friendly crew” “Fabulous – beyond my expectations”
“An amazing trip - thanks”
“Thank you for fulfilling my dreams”

Spirit is the only boat in Australia to have sighted the Majestic White Whale 'Migaloo' ('White Fell' in the Aboriginal language) three years running 2003, 2004 & 2005. Spirit guarantees sightings due to the increase in population of these gentle giants; our sighting record is 99.3%.

As the pioneers of Whale Watching on the East Coast of Australia, with 15 years experience, our Gold Coast location allows Spirit to enjoy the longest Whale Watching Season in Australia. As these amazing creatures migrate north to warmer waters, to give birth or mate, and return south with their newborn calves, they enchant passengers with an experience of a lifetime.

Trust in Spirit of Gold Coast for the journey of a lifetime in absolute safety!
